baby news !

The secret is out!  Ellee is going to be a big sister!!  We are so excited to become a family of 4!  We are expecting baby Gray #2 to arrive mid June.  That puts me at 11 weeks and 4 days making my unofficial due date June 14, 2011.  A little weird because if baby #2 is born on that day Ellee and the new baby will be exactly 23 months apart.  It's not likely though. : )

With that secret out in the open, I have an announcement.  This will be the last post on littlebabygray.blogspot.com.  I have decided since we have another little one on the way I think we should have more of a family blog. So, I will be posting all future posts at http://www.agraydayblog.blogspot.com/.  This blog will be both about Ellee and baby Gray #2.  It will also occasionally be about their Mom and Dad too. : )  We are so excited about where God is leading our family!  We are truly blessed!!!

Side note: I am currently trying to figure out the whole layout thing of the new blog.  Blogger has changed things around on me and I'm not sure I like it. : )  So, A Gray Day Blog is still under construction and it isn't looking so cute.  Don't judge. LOL! : )

pumpkin patches.

If you remember last year Ellee and I attended a Mom's/Playgroup called Sprouts. Well this year's first outing with Sprouts (10/15/10) was to a local private farm called Silverbow.  Ellee was so much more fun to take this year!  She loved looking at all the animals.  We saw pigs, horses, mules and chickens.  She even got to pet a chicken!  It was so much fun to see her interact with the animals.
After playing with the animals we went over to the pumpkin patch and Ellee picked out her very own pumpkin!  She had so much fun!

Our pumpkin patch adventures continue!  That same weekend we made a trip down to Vancouver to see some friends.  We went to a local pumpkin patch down there and we had fun on the hay ride, playing in the hay and picking out a pumpkin!  Ellee had so much fun running around!

1st M's game and Uncle J pitches!

The day we went to the zoo was a very busy day!  Ellee also got to go to her very first Mariner's game!  The Mariner's played the Baltimore Orioles.  Ellee's Uncle Jason is a pitcher for the O's!  We were lucky enough to see him pitch and he did great!  3 innings with out allowing the M's to score!! 
We had so much fun and Ellee did amazing!  Especially since we had already been to the zoo.  Halfway through the game she decided she was tired so she just fell asleep!  She is truly such a great baby! We are blessed to be her parents!

woodland park zoo.

Wow, so I am really late in posting these next few posts!! I'm sorry!! :)

While Auntie Em was in town Ellee went to the Woodland Park Zoo for the first time! We had a blast! And, Ellee did so well! She rode around on Daddy's shoulders for a good part of the time. When she seemed like she was tired we stuck her in her stroller and with in minutes she was passed out!

being a momma...

is SERIOUSLY the BEST job in THE ENTIRE world!!

I really could do just this job and be COMPLETELY satisfied with my life! I have been a Momma for 262 days and I would not trade any one of those days for the world!!!

Yes, motherhood is not a walk in the park.

But, there is really no words to completely describe the joy and love that being a Mom brings to my life! I know that the job of being a Mom comes with many hardships and struggles BUT, I believe that every single struggle and every hardship is COMPLETELY worth it! God has TRULY blessed me with the most amazing family! I'm so excited to see what wonderful adventures He has in store for us!

catching up.

We have been so busy the past few weeks!  Instead of posting for each event I have decided it would be easier to do a catch up post. Here goes! :)

We completed our trip with a visit to the World of Coca-Cola.  It was fun taking the self guided tour which included an entertaining multisensory 4-D movie, old artifacts and a tastings of over 60 different Coke products from around the world.   If you are ever in Atlanta I recommend going!  Check out the photos from our visit:

After having such a wonderful visit with my sister, her husband, Aunts, Uncles and cousins it was time to get back to reality. :(  Ellee did very well on the plane ride home.  A few fusses here and there but, overall it was a success.  She spent a lot of time sleeping and looking out the window.  Were were lucky to have an open seat between us so she was able to stretch out.  Here are a few pics from the ride.
